Click 'There's Love' to the left to watch "There's Love: The Doug Jones Documentary" to learn more about Doug's enriched life and the story of how he became one of the most sought after practical effects makeup performers in Hollywood.

For over thirty years Doug Jones has graced the silver screen in film and television alike. He is often noted for his dexterity, expressionism, and physicality while performing under intensive prosthetic makeups.  He is best known for his work as Abe Sapien in Hellboy and Hellboy 2: The Golden Army, as both El Fauno and The Pale Man in Pan's Labyrinth, as Billy Butcherson in Hocus Pocus, as the Silver Surfer in Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer, and as the Lead Gentleman in the popular Buffy The Vampire Slayer Episode "Hush".

Some of Doug's recent work includes The Bye Bye Man as the titular character, as Cochise in Falling Skies, as the leader of the Ancients and the original Master on The Strain, as the villain Deathbolt on television's Arrow and The Flash, and as both the Mother Ghost and Lady Sharpe in Crimson Peak.

Currently Doug can be seen as First Officer Saru in Star Trek: Discovery on CBS All Access (new episodes every Sunday evening, resuming January 7th).  Coming December 8th Doug will be splashing into theatres as The Amphibious Creature in Guillermo del Toro's fantasy drama The Shape Of Water.  Next year viewers will be able to sink their teeth into Doug's performance as Count Orlok on Nosferatu.

Doug can often be seen trotting the North American continent and sometimes other parts of the globe by attending as a guest at multiple conventions and fan gatherings.

A question that Doug is commonly asked in interviews is ‘What is one role you’ve always wanted to play, but have not had the chance to?’ His answers have remained the same for years… – Skellington Jack in a live Broadway adaption of “A Nightmare Before Christmas”… – A white-winged, gentle, healing angel… And, of
